Pierre-Anthony Lemieux is a partner at Sandflow Consulting, where he works with Hollywood and Silicon Valley clients on worldwide standards and software R&D. His expertise covers the entertainment technology ecosystem, from content authoring to consumer devices, including audio, video, access services, file formats, and content protection. Recent engagements include chairing industry and standards groups, serving as specification editor, implementing proof-of-concept software, and maintaining open source projects. He has been over time an active contributor to SMPTE, W3C, JPEG, MPEG, EBU, and IETF.

Pierre-Anthony has been directly involved with the development of the Interoperable Master Format (IMF) standard since its inception. He currently chairs the IMF User Group and the SMPTE TC 35PM technology committee.

Pierre-Anthony has a Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA, and a B.Sc. from McGill University. He is a SMPTE Fellow.
